Hi, I’m Marielos Lucas, the creative heart behind Chic World — a space devoted to celebrating women through fine art, confidence, and connection.
My love for photography began more than sixteen years ago, capturing families, children, and newborns in their most heartfelt moments. Before returning to Guatemala, I lived in the United States, where I also worked as an educator, teaching workshops for portrait photographers on posing, composition, and post-production editing. Sharing what I’d learned deepened my appreciation for how light, emotion, and storytelling intertwine to create timeless images.
When I returned home, I thought that chapter had closed — but art has a way of finding us again. After a few years exploring other creative passions, I rediscovered my true calling behind the camera: empowering women through fine art portraiture.
Today, my focus is on creating portrait experiences that celebrate women in every stage of life. Through sessions like The True You, Mini Chic, and The Goddess Experience, I help women reconnect with their confidence, strength, and grace — capturing the beauty that already lives within them.
During my creative pause, I also found another artistic voice through macramé. What began as a personal passion evolved into Chic World Handmade, a collection of artisan designs that also supports local women in Antigua through creative collaboration.
Every woman deserves to feel like a queen, a goddess, or a princess — even if just for one day. My goal is to create timeless portraits that not only capture your beauty but also help you see yourself the way the world sees you.
